Spring art is at the East Fork Gallery

Staff Reports

Shannon LitzPam Brekas, a new member of the East Fork Gallery, shows raffle prizes at the gallery on Friday.

The public is invited to celebrate spring with new art and new and old friends during the East Fork Gallery’s spring reception.

The annual open house is noon to 5 p.m. March 17.

There will be a complete show change with the 37 artists represented in the gallery displaying their paintings, photography, pottery, hand painted porcelain, fused glass, jewelry, sculpture, and more.

“Our artists are very special skilled and creative individuals, making the gallery special and unique,” gallery president Elfriede Short said. “The reception is a chance to meet the artists, socialize and enjoy treats for soul and mind, and be inspired.”

There are many gift items and original cards available as well.

A featured and sought after Easter tradition in the gallery are hand-painted wooden eggs, each individually created by Short.
