Power problems still lurking
August 2, 2012
After the awful brownout and damage of July 11, we had a week and a half of normal service; but just as we were feeling comfortable again we had four power surges and an outage on the 22nd, surges the next day, and then seven outages and a surge on the 25th.
I spoke with Randy Kelly at Liberty Energy last Thursday, and he said they are working hard with NV Energy to get our problems resolved.
He also mentioned that our power source has been changed slightly to another connector, but it is still in the beginning stage of problem solving.
For those of you who had damages from any of the electrical issues, be sure to get your claim form in to Liberty Energy right away.
The loss of power alone is a major problem, but damage to your equipment is even more severe, so don’t wait to start the claim process.
