Halloween hauntings at the Carson Valley Inn
October 18, 2012
Do you like to be scared, do you enjoy a good haunting, do you love the feeling of the hair on the back of your neck standing up when it feels as if a ghost has just passed through you?
Theater of Arts Discipline presents an evening of haunted one-act plays at the Carson Valley Inn 7 p.m. Oct. 26-27.
“From the lighthearted frights, to the ones that have you looking over your shoulder at the end of the night, TOAD has it all for you,” said Kris Garrett TOAD artistic director.
Eighteen local actors will perform “The Halloween Spirit,” “The Fall of the House of Usher,” “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” “The Haunting of Hathaway House” and “The Babysitter.”-
“We will also be having a silent auction to raise money for our scholarship fund to assist students who might not otherwise be able to afford to be in our programs,” Garrett said. “You won’t want to miss this.”
Donations for the silent auction are being accepted. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors . Tickets are available by emailing email@example.com or by calling (775) 219-3577. Tickets will also be available at the door.
