Community leaders discuss health mandates
September 4, 2012
High Sierra Fellowship is hosting “Libertas Northern Nevada,” a panel of community leaders from the Reno area who will discuss the Health and Human Services mandates that affect religious liberties for all Americans.
The community is invited to this free event 7 p.m. Sept. 13.
“The panel consists of Catholic and protestant leaders, lawyers and a retired Air Force colonel,” Pastor Rich Lammay said, “whose roundtable discussion is meant to inform communities of the erosion of religious rights found within the health care bill.”
A question and answer session will follow.—
High Sierra Fellowship is located at 1701 Lucerne Street in Minden. For more information, call 782-7486, or visit http://www.hsfellowship.org.
