Carson Valley Community Theatre seeks directors
January 19, 2012
Carson Valley Community Theatre is the in process of planning the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons and are looking for directors.
No directing experience is necessary, but having some theater experience is a plus.
“A director has to put the show together as far as casting the show, running rehearsals, staging the play. They put the whole play together,” CVCT President Lucille Rao said. “The person would have to be extremely organized.”
The theater group is also in need of an information technology manager, volunteers for set painting, ticket sales, publicity or artistic directing.
“If anyone wants to volunteer we’ll always find something that will interest them, whether it’s something artistic or clerical,” Rao said. “We have a great group of people, it’s like a family, CVCT. We always feel like we’re a family.”
To volunteer to be a director, call Rao at 843-3493.
Carson Valley Community Theatre’s production of “Snow White Goes West” opens March 23 and continues weekends through April 1. Tickets go on sale Feb. 16. For more information, visit http://www.carsonvalleycommunitytheatre.org.
