Berean Bible Church expands

Berean Bible Church has leased an additional room in the Haas Center complex to expand their children’s and community ministries.

“We are excited about our recent growth and facility expansion,” Executive Pastor Llew Bush said. “Our purpose is to expand our ability to better serve the community.”

Within the new room is a smaller room where volunteers can care for infants and toddlers. The church provides cribs and easy chairs where nursing moms can go for quiet and privacy.

The former Sunday school and nursery have been modified for use as an office and library.

“Ministering to our children has always been a priority,” Bush said. “Now we have a large new area where we can do just that more efficiently. We have decorated the Sunday school with a full wall mural of Noah’s Ark to inspire the children and workers with the concept of trusting God.”

The new room also has its own bathroom and storage area.

The old office has been set up as a quiet room for mothers who need to care for children and still listen to the worship service.

“Our dream to begin to build a substantial theological library is now realized,” Bush said. “We have also been enabled to expand the storage area of our food closet, so folks in the community who need help with meals can call the church office, and we will assist them with enough food for two or three meals.”

Sunday morning worship begins at 9:30 a.m. and evening worship at 5 p.m.
