A breakdown in communication
November 9, 2012
Interesting times are upon us. Things happening across the world that cause concern. I am writing about one concern I have.
The concern is abortion, and what it means to us here in the year 2012. I have read many articles on the abortion topic. I was talking to a Christian believer the other day and was mentioning abortion and killing babies and what God might think about it. I was surprised that she did not understand exactly what goes on during an abortion.
My concern is actually two-fold concerning abortion. The first concern is that of apathy and lack of communication. So far in this country we still have the freedom of speech although sometimes it is hard to tell who has this right. If we talk about the sin in our country and the results of this sin the mainstream media makes sure they spin it to say something different than what was intended.
My other concern is the actual killing of babies taking place during these abortions. And God is concerned about the killing of babies.
So in the interest of better communication I will explain one particular “abortion procedure.” It involves later term abortions and the harvesting of infant brain stem cells. They are after all valuable commodities. To be sold later to help with stem cell research.
Also there is terminology in the abortion room such as “complication” which means the baby is still alive and then you put the “complication” aside until it dies and no more “complication.”
When I told my Christian friend this information she was appalled and wasn’t quite sure if she believed me. I personally cannot believe that the propaganda we hear about pro-choice and the mother’s health is exactly the issue here.
If you want to make sure of what I am telling you is true you can go online and search for abortion techniques and learn them all there.
All of this is because of selfishness and not wanting to live with the results of a lifestyle of sin.
Psalms 139:13, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb,” 139:15-16, “my frame was not hidden from you when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”
God knows us in the womb at conception. We should have mercy upon the children and stop this travesty that is going on in our country.
I ask forgiveness for our country for our unrepentant sin. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Lord, forgive us.
