One less Douglas home sold in 2013 than 2012

Douglas home sales were essentially flat during 2013, with one fewer home be sold than in 2012, according to figures released by the Douglas County Assessor. Overall, 2013 saw 805 home sales, just one fewer than in 2012, and nowhere near the peak of 1,306 in 2004. Home sales in Carson Valley dipped in the fourth quarter of 2013, according to county figures. There were 170 homes sold during the quarter, down from the same quarters in 2012 and 2011.
