Town OKs keeping gas station at entry

Longtime Carson Valley resident Sondra Condron told members of the Gardnerville Town Board she was pleased they were keeping the gas station building that was built by her father, Virgil. She said her dad, Virgil, and family moved to Carson Valley and purchased what today is referred to as Eagle Gas Station in 1958. “My dad bought the little gas station that was there before,” she said. “The Shell distributor said they would build a new station in 1961.
