Burglary suspects signal guilt

Two men allegedly involved in the attempted robbery of a Gardnerville store intend to enter guilty pleas, their attorneys said Wednesday. Angel Razo-Ortega, 25, and Tanner Cooper, 21, were arrested in connection with a crime spree that allegededly included Razo-Ortega threatening a Sierra Market clerk with a BB gun. Both men appeared in East Fork Justice Court on Wednesday. Razo-Ortega’s attorney Kris Brown said he intended to plead guilty. She said that while Razo-Ortega won’t ask for diversion, the state agreed to recommend probation and to drop forgery charges. Cooper will also enter a guilty plea in connection with the …
