In response to Judy Kohz ‘s letter of Aug. 14, 2013, I have an entirely different opinion of the postal service. Street numbers identify a specific geographical location and are valuable to potential customers and emergency personnel. Store names alone fail to specify location to the newcomer. It never ceases to amaze me how many places of business and homeowners fail to identify their building with their street number. I think the postal service is justified in not delivering mail that is not properly addressed with a street number.
