Thanks for supporting Project School Days

Editor: For school kids, summer is coming to a close and school will start Aug. 19 for Douglas County kids. It’s time to think of those students in our seven elementary and two middle schools who need assistance with supplies to complete their school work. Project School Days, now in its 16th year, is a nonprofit, totally volunteer organization that fills requests from teachers for their students that need school materials. Requested supplies range from crayons, pens and pencils to notebooks, dictionaries, backpacks and calculators.
