Bark for Life raises money for relay

Editor: On July 14, we held our first American Cancer Society Bark For Life at Minden Park. It was an afternoon to participate in a mini-relay with our best friends to celebrate cancer survivors and caregivers, to share our stories and to raise funds to help the American Cancer Society save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. During the event we celebrated Heather’s first birthday cancer-free. Christopher offered to walk the dogs for $2 to raise a total of $36 in honor of his mom’s first year of being cancer free.
