Baseball: Douglas baseball drops doubleheader at Spanish Springs

The Douglas baseball team fell twice in a doubleheader against Spanish Springs in Sparks on Saturday. Douglas lost 8-3 and 2-1 as its record on the year dropped to 15-11 overall and 9-7 in Northern Division I play. It was the Tigers’ fifth and sixth consecutive losses in league play. Kyle Johnson took the loss in Game 1, striking out four and walking one in six inning of work. The Cougars scored five times in the first inning and cruised from there.
