Police: Bicyclist arrested after choking out mom

A South Lake Tahoe man was arrested after he allegedly throttled his mother into unconsciousness on Wednesday morning. Skylor Klisch, 21, was arrested 6:30 a.m. after he was spotted riding east on his bicycle near Rubicon Trail. He led officers across Lake Tahoe Boulevard, and then lost traction in the snow and fell down. Officers found a .22 handgun in a case and a small package of marijuana. After she recovered, Klisch’s mother said her son was intoxicated. An emergency protective order was issued by the court to prevent Klisch from contacting her.
