The former housemate of a Spanish Springs man found dead on Tuesday is in Douglas County custody in connection with the case. Billey Stanberry, 48, was taken into custody 7 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant issued out of Fallon after a caller there claimed there was a dead man in the back yard of a home on 160 Mia Drive. Responding Washoe County deputies found Ryan Petty, 47, on Tuesday evening, dead of a gunshot wound.
