Sinfonia to present spring concert

The Carson Valley Sinfonia presents its annual spring concert 4 p.m. Sunday in the CVIC Hall. The performance is open to the public without charge. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, the program will include several Irish and Celtic selections including, “An Irish Medley” by composer Danny Yale, along with “Celtic Suite,” “Sweet Rosie O’Toole,” Londonderry Air,” and “Who Threw the Overalls in Mrs. Murphy’s Chowder?” arranged by Conductor John O’Neill. Several intermediate students will join the Sinfonia for “Over the Rainbow” and “The Sound of Music.” A highlight of the program will be the performance of the first movement …
