Whittell High School parents are planning to attend today’s Douglas County School Board special meeting on the strategic plan. There’s nothing specifically about the Lake Tahoe school on the agenda, so they may be looking at public comment.

I’ll post first blush on my debate story this morning. There were about 200 people there, and I’m going to say it was one of the better debates we’ve seen. The sheriff and his challengers did a good job of delineating their strengths without tearing down the department too much.

It was really windy this morning, but it’s died down a little bit. Expect partly sunny skies and a west wind 10-15 mph, gusting to 25 mph.
