Johns-Manville Irrigation Corporation merged with Buckner Sprinklers in 1973 and Wayne once again moved his family, this time to Fresno, CA. In 1980 after many years absence, he re-joined Lockheed in Sunnyvale, CA working for the MILSTAR program and then the Space Telescope program. Wayne and Linda retired in 1998 and moved to Gardnerville, NV.
