Obituary: John (Jack) Flannery

John (Jack) Flannery a.k.a. Stagecoach Jack was born Sep. 27, 1932, in Gary, Ind.

He passed away on Dec. 5, at 80 years old.

After serving proudly as a Marine in the Korean War, he moved to California and married Alfie in 1955.

He had a 40 year career in the sheet metal industry.

Jack retired to Minden, Nev. in 1993 where he was known for his sense of humor and proudly served as president of the Lion’s Club for two years and was an avid wood worker.

He moved to Stanwood in 2011 to be near his daughter and resided at Merrill Gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Alfie; his son, John (Debbie) Flannery of Austin, Texas; his daughter, Ann Marie (Alan Swanson of Camano Island; his son, Jimmy (Kelly) Flannery of Wittier, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He will be missed by everyone.
