Obituary: Warren “Keith” Park

Warren "Keith" Park, 57, of Bridgeport, California passed away September 7, 2013 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Twin Falls, Idaho.
Keith was born in Rigby, Idaho, October 1, 1955 to Keith Warren Park and Dolores Pelot Park. Keith was raised and attended schools in Ririe, Idaho, graduating in 1973. After graduation he moved to Idaho Falls, ID, and had a daughter, Andrea. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974- 1977, attending Basic Training in Fort Ord, California, and was stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington. After discharge he received his Associates Degree in Drafting & Design Technology from Idaho State University. Keith migrated west to California in 1983. He had held various IT positions in California including a job with the Indy Racing League working for Toyota/MCI overseeing all the IT technology functions for that team. Keith's latest position was an IT Specialist III for Mono County in Bridgeport, California. He worked with the Sheriff's office, District Attorney, supported the equipment involved with the elections, worked with the County Board and was a very valued member of the community but most importantly a good friend to all. The flags were flown at half-staff in Mono County on September 10th in honor of Warren Keith Park.
Keith deeply loved his family with whom he would often have long telephone conversations. He was a loving, open, honest, and adventurous person who enjoyed spending his time with his significant other, Bonnie, attending music and cultural events, hiking, and most of all riding his Harley. He was a great conversationalist who made friends easily and greatly enjoyed speaking with people from all walks of life.
Keith had a strong passion for animals and unconditionally loved his rescue dog, Kaweah, who was his furry best friend and companion. Keith would take Kaweah for long walks every day and she would thank him with lots of puppy kisses afterwards. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of all of us.
Keith is survived by his mother, Dolores Pelot Park of Ririe, Idaho: daughter, Andrea (Toby) Berry of Boise, ID; siblings: Gary Park, Loomis, CA, Richard Park, Idaho Falls, ID, and a sister, Lori (Billy) Tunks of Rigby, ID; grandkids: Kole and Kenna Berry of Boise, ID and he is also survived by his true love, Bonnie Trimble of Reno, Nevada. Keith was preceded in death by his father, Keith Warren Park.
A viewing was held at Wood Funeral home in Idaho Falls, Idaho on Saturday, September 14 with a graveside ceremony at the Ririe Shelton Cemetery.
There will also be a Celebration of Life at 73 N. School Street Bridgeport, California at Memorial Hall on September 28th at 1 p. m.
