The R-C Morning Report for March 26

House fire in Dresslerville

An early morning fire claimed a Dresslerville home on Washoe People Boulevard. No one was injured in the fire at 836 Washoe People Blvd., but neighboring homes were evacuated. The fire was called out at 1:10 a.m.

Follow-ups from Monday

We’ll be following up on both last night’s fire and the controlled burn from Monday afternoon this morning. We’ll also see what we can find out about what happened at a meeting in Woodfords regarding the recall of the Washoe Tribal Chairwoman.

Showers delayed

The forecast showers keep getting pushed back closer to April. Today we’ll have partly sunny skies and a high temperature in the 60s. The rain is supposed to come on Friday.
