GAYLE KILMER WALKER

Gayle Walker was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who is now in heaven with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8 ESV). Gayle was born in Hot Springs Arkansas, on September, 26 1930. She entered eternal life on June 30th, 2014, she was 83 years old. Gayle lived in Placerville, where she met and married the love of her life, Richard who preceded her in death and who were married just under 60 years. Gayle and Richard lived in Monterey and then in South Lake Tahoe for 40 years before moving to the Carson Valley in 1997. Gayle worked in administration for Monterey College later in banking at Tahoe and for the gift shop at Harvey’s. Gayle is survived by two daughters, JoAnne Regan and Suzanne (Rich) Lammay all of Gardnerville. She also leaves behind four grandchildren. David Lammay of Hawaii, Dan (LaNaia) Lammay of Texas, Kristina (Matt) Brimm of Texas and Ryan Regan of Gardnerville. She also has 8, great grandchildren all in Texas. Gayle was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and friends. Gayle enjoyed the outdoors, camping and woodcutting with Richard. She also loved family gatherings and Christmas. She was a collector of fine Tea Cups. Gayle was a longtime member of High Sierra Fellowship where there will be a memorial service on July 10th at 5:00 pm.
