Motorists in the state line area might want to make extra sure they're buckled up on Friday night, when South Lake Tahoe police and CHP officers will be conducting a seat belt checkpoint.
The enforcement will take place near the corner of Lake Tahoe Boulevard and Pioneer Trail from about 7 to 11 p.m.
The checkpoint is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety and is part of the statewide Click It or Ticket Campaign that's running from May 12 to June 1.
