Valley Christian Fellowship finds new Gardnerville home
March 26, 2013
God works in mysterious ways when it comes to finding a long-term home for Valley Christian Fellowship.
After a sewer flood destroyed the children’s ministry area in the church’s building in the Gardnerville Ranchos, Senior Pastor Leo Kruger began the search for a new location.
After months of preparation, Kruger is inviting the public to an Easter Sunday grand opening in their new location off Highway 395 in the Waterloo Center.
“The location is the best we could ever ask for. We have over 9,000 square feet. Our new location is basically brand new. This is a long-term lease and we have no plans to move,” Kruger said. “The parking is more than we will need, with a brand new sanctuary to worship in comfort and hear the Word. We are very happy with the move.”
The church is serving breakfast 8-9:30 a.m. Sunday, followed by an Easter message at 10 a.m.
There will also be a presentation by Pastor Al Vacek.
“Al will be doing an artist rendition called chalk talk,” Kruger said. “It is very inspiring and beautiful.”
Sunday school is offered for children from preschool through eighth grade with nursery care for infants and toddlers.
“We are encouraging people to come check out the facility, but most important to hear the life-saving message of the Gospel,” Kruger said. “The Bible is the standard of our belief, and it is preached without compromise.”
Valley Christian Fellowship is located at 1352 Highway 395 in Gardnerville.
