Cover the tomatoes
There's a cold north wind blowing through Carson Valley this morning that's going to send temperatures dropping below freezing early Thursday morning. Might be a good idea to give the tomatoes a good water tonight and then cover them until morning. Low temperatures will be back up above freezing on Friday morning and then through the weekend.
The Lampe Park Farmers Market opens for the season 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, so if you're tomatoes freeze, here's another source.
The Carson Valley Job Opportunity Fair is 2-6 p.m. today at the St. Gall Pastoral Center, 1343 Centerville Lane, in Gardnerville.
