It’s odorless, colorless, tasteless, and the leading cause of lung cancer among nonsmokers. It’s radon, a radioactive gas that creeps into your house and gathers in the still places. To find out more about it, the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension is hosting a workshop 6 p.m. today at the CVIC Hall.

The woman accused of killing an Iraq War veteran Is scheduled to appear in East Fork Justice Court today to find out what the next step in murder proceedings against her will be. Nicole Followill, 29, in being held in the Dec. 2 shooting death.
It smells like rain outside this morning, but I can’t tell any has fallen yet today. It’s not supposed to arrive until around 4 p.m. and then the deluge, such as it is, won’t arrive until early Thursday morning. Expect cloudy skies and a high near 61, with winds 10-15 mph gusting to 25 mph.
