We had a 10-minute power outage on the west side of the Valley at 2:40 this morning. Not sure who else was affected, but I’ll drop a line to NV Energy’s Karl Walquist.
A wind advisory kicks in at 1 p.m. today and is expected to last through the night. Expect winds out of the southwest at 20-35 mph, gusting to 55 mph as the cold front rolls in. Aside from the wind, the Valley will still be warm with a high of 60. We should see some moisture after 10 p.m. in the form of rain. The snow level will come down overnight.
