Streamflow forecasts are calling for the rest of February to have well below average snowpack this spring and summer unless we get some snow. In a report issued by the National Weather Service and Natural Resource Conservation Service, water users are warned to keep a close eye on the weather as the winter unfolds.
Fort Churchill Park Ranger Kim Clawson is the speaker at tonight’s historical lecture at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center in Gardnerville. Clawson is speaking at 7 p.m. Admission is $3 for nonmembers.
It will be sunny and warm on this Valentine’s Day with temperatures in the mid-50s and the wind clam in the morning then picking up to 5 mph. It still looks like we’re not going to get any precipitation before Tuesday.
