The R-C Morning Report

by Kurt Hildebrand

The Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory this morning, and they’re not kidding. It’s so bad it’s reflecting headlights along Jacks Valley Road. Expect visibility of between 100 yards and a quarter mile through 10 a.m. when it should burn off.

Carson Valley Community Theatre is putting on “Some Enchanted Evening,” starting 7:30 p.m. tonight at the CVIC Hall in Minden. On Saturday, Genoa’s dedicating the Vista Trail and Killer Salsa owner Fran Pritchard is holding an open house. All this stuff and more is in today’s edition of The Record-Courier on stands now.

Don’t expect much sun once the fog clears. Today’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high temperature near 50. The fog will stick around through Saturday, and then snow returns to the forecast on Sunday.
