A Gardnerville man is scheduled to be arraigned this morning on a second felony count of driving under the influence. John Herron, 38, waived a preliminary hearing in East Fork Justice Court on Nov. 7. Under a plea agreement, the state will recommend a 3-10 year prison sentence. Because of his prior felony, prison is mandatory.

Today we’ll see mostly sunny skies with a high temperature near 60 degrees. The breeze will pick up a little bit with a southwest wind 5-10 mph. We’ve got a storm rolling in on Wednesday with a good chance of light showers.
