In addition to Election Day, it’s also meeting day for the Gardnerville and Genoa town boards. Gardnerville meets at 4:30 p.m. where trustees will discuss a land division for New Beginnings Housing, located at 1331 Stodick Parkway in the multi-family residential zoning district. Genoans meet at 6:30 p.m., and will hear a presentation on placing a carillon bell in one of the town’s buildings and discuss the Destination Vista trail and Main Street landscaping projects.
A Kingsbury resident awoke Saturday to find an Audi convertible lying on its
top in his back yard. Deputies responded to an 8 a.m. call on Barrett Drive.
When they arrived they found an unoccupied two-door Audi convertible.
Deputies went up the hill and woke up the owners of the vehicle, who said
they parked the car during the night. At some point during the evening, the
car rolled 50-60 feet down a hill and flipped over.
Enjoy our last nice day for a while as the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook forecasting substantially colder and stormier weather starting with wind on Wednesday. Today expect sunny skies and a high temperature around 77. The wind picks up on Wednesday and by Thursday we’ll start seeing flurries in the Valley, perhaps.
