The R-C Morning
October 9, 2012
We’ve had our first accident so far this morning at Highway 395 and the Dairy Queen blocking the southbound lanes. The 8:18 a.m. accident involved a small Ford pickup and perhaps as many as two other vehicles. One man complaining of a sore back, but refusing treatment by medics. No one else claiming injury.
Douglas County School Board trustees meet at 3:30 p.m. today at the Zephyr Cove branch of the Douglas County Public Library. They’ll be discussing adequate yearly progress for the last time and school enrollment, among other things.
We’re looking at mostly sunny skies today with a high temperature of 70 degrees and the wind out of the west 5-10 mph shifting to the east. Chance of moisture remains on Wednesday.
