Pedestrian injured in accident Monday

A woman received nonlife-threatening injuries on Monday morning in an accident at Mica and Haystack drives.
The accident was reported at 6:39 a.m. and involved a red van.
The 35-year-old woman was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center for medical treatment by East Fork medics, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The woman's condition was not available at press time on Tuesday. Neither her identity, nor the identity of the driver have been released.
■ A 10-year-old girl was reported injured in a sledding incident near Woodfords at about 4:30 p.m. Monday.
The girl hit a rock and seriously injured her leg. She was transported for medical treatment.
