A San Francisco man was arrested Saturday morning after Douglas County deputies responded to Harvey's Hotel and Casino for a stabbing in one of the rooms.
Christopher Calder, 30, was arrested for battery with a deadly weapon after officers learned that Timon Sung, 29, was stabbed in the abdomen during an altercation.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies arrived at 7:40 a.m. to find four adults and a juvenile in the room.
An altercation broke out when Calder, his daughter and a friend returned to the room, and woke up Sung and his girlfriend.
An argument ensued, which quickly turned to an altercation between Sung and Calder.
Calder reportedly armed himself with a knife and pushed Sung into the hallway. Sung attempted to re-enter the room and Calder allegedly stabbed Sung with the knife.
Sung was taken to Renown Medical Center for his injuries. Calder was arrested for battery with a deadly weapon and taken to the Tahoe Jail. Calder's bail was set at $25,000.
