Man arrested after locking himself in burning building

An Indian Hills man who ran into a burning building and locked himself inside was taken into custody by Douglas County Sheriff's deputies early Friday morning.
East Fork firefighters responded to a garage fire in the 800 block of Granite Court at 12:57 a.m.
While they were fighting the fire, a man later identified as Blake Lister, 29, was taken into custody for interfering with firefighters.
According to the sheriff's office, he claimed to be a BLM firefighter. He was told to stay away from firefighters who were extinguishing the blaze, but then ran into the building and locked the door.
Deputies entered the building and ordered Lister out. When he refused, he was arrested for interfering with extinguishing a fire and resisting arrest His bail was set at $1,280.
■ Bail was reduced to $3,000 for a Gardnerville Ranchos woman who was taken into custody Thursday for allegedly taking a relative's vehicle.

Kyndal Leigh Swift, 24, appeared in East Fork Justice Court on Monday where her bail was lowered from $22,000 by Tahoe Justice Richard Glasson sitting in for East Fork Justice Tom Perkins.
Swift is accused of taking a relative's vehicle without permission and being involved in the theft of a trailer. She was arrested after deputies received a report that she was riding a motorcycle in the Gardnerville Ranchos. A deputy spotted the motorcycle and pulled her over. Swift was ordered to appear in court on May 14.
■ A Gardnerville man who allegedly hadn't registered as a sex offender for three years is in custody.
Jesse Lee Coffman, 30, was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Saturday.
He is being held in lieu of $5,003 bail.
