Man accused of felony sexual assault

A 36-year-old Topaz Ranch Estates man faces four felonies in connection with allegations of sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
Joseph Bruan Bonilla is charged with three counts of sexual assault against a child under age 14 and one count of lewdness with a child under age 14.
He is in Douglas County Jail on $100,000 bail and appeared Friday in East Fork Justice Court.
The crimes allegedly occurred between May 28 and June 30, 2013.
Bonilla was arrested Wednesday on a warrant. Details of the case are sealed.
■ A 47-year-old Reno man was jailed without bail accused of violating terms of his lifetime supervision as a sex offender.
Frank Gerald Pepper was convicted in Douglas County in 2008 of luring a child under age 16. He admitted trying to arrange a date with a 13-year-old girl by posing as a 17-year-old on the Internet.
Pepper was sentenced to 18-72 months in Nevada state prison and placed on lifetime supervision as a sex offender.
During a recent probation check, an officer found cell phones hidden under a couch in Pepper’s Reno home.
Phone records indicate he allegedly had contact with underage females.
Pepper is accused of possession of a device capable of accessing the Internet, accessing the Internet or having interaction with underage females, a felony.
He appeared Friday in East Fork Justice Court.
