Drug Use Is Life Abuse contest results

Each year the Douglas County Sheriff's Advisory committee holds the Drug Use is Life Abuse contest for any students attending high school or middle school in Douglas County. The students can submit video or still photography to portray an anti-drug message, winning cash prizes
Two Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School students took first place, a $350 check and second place, a $100 check for their :60 second anti-drug public service announcement.
Students from Douglas High won 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in the still photography category, with the top prize of $250.

Brennan, DHS student Daija Currey won $50 for her 3rd place video entry, DHS student Melissa Downes won $50 for her 3rd place photography entry, PWL student Megan Foulenfont won $100 for her 2nd place video entry, John Legaspina and Andy Lopez of PWL came in 1st place in the video contest winning $350, and PWL Librarian & Video Production teacher Susan Bullard.
