Commission makes advisory board appointments

Commissioners made appointments Monday to Douglas County advisory boards, but agreed to reopen positions where there weren’t enough candidates.

Successful applicants include:

Kenneth Garber, 911 surcharge committee, with two vacancies;

Craig Burnside, Wes Emery, Michael Turnipseed, advisory board to manage wildlife;

Bill Henderson, Lynn Muzzy, Keith Swanson, airport advisory committee;

Donald Frensdorff, Carson Water Subconservancy District;
