Carson Valley Days theme chosen
February 20, 2013
The Carson Valley Active 20/30 Club has chosen “Western Roundup” for this year’s Carson Valley Days theme.
Due to increases in permits and park rental, the club is raising the parade entry fees to $50 for noncommercial, $75 for commercial. Youth entries are still free.
Preparations begin in November for the biggest celebration of the year, and kick into high gear around March gathering sponsors and putting final details into place.
Parade applications, carnival ticket prices and locations, activity information and a full schedule of events will be posted on their updated website http://www.carsonvalley2030.org as soon as the information is available.
The Carson Valley Days celebration is June 6-9.
The festival is a four-day event including a hot air balloon launch, parade, craft shows, carnival rides, live music and activities for children and adults.
