The R-C Morning Report for Jan. 22

Douglas County School Board trustees approved a $17.9 million expansion of Douglas High School on Tuesday. Chief Financial Officer Holly Luna told board members that she didn’t think they’d get what they did for the price.

This afternoon Minden Town Board members hosting a workshop on the town’s water works. The meeting is at 4 p.m. at the CVIC Hall on Esmeralda Avenue.

It’s cold out this morning, but it will warm up nicely, with the high temperature headed for 57 today according to the National Weather Service.
