The R-C Morning Report for Nov. 4

More than 160 people packed the room on Saturday for the annual Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce and Record-Courier Community awards at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden.’

Kyle R. Jarboe, 22, is back in district court this morning with a change of plea after denying charges of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance for sale last week. Jarboe is also facing a probation violation on a prior drug offense. He is scheduled to appear before District Judge Michael Gibbons.

It’s chilly out this morning, with 24 degrees out in the middle of the Valley. We might see a high temperature in the low 50s today, under sunny skies.
