Tahoe-Douglas Elks install symbolic statue

If you’re driving down Kimmerling Road and happen to spot an elk standing there, don’t rush to place a call to the game warden. The Tahoe-Douglas Elks recently donated funds to purchase and install this majestic statue on the grounds of the lodge. The elk is the national symbol of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and many lodges around the country have similar statues on their grounds.
