Woman ordered to serve additional three weeks in jail

A 57-year-old woman with multiple violations was ordered Monday to serve an additional three weeks in Douglas County Jail before she is dishonorably discharged from probation. “You’re too old to be engaged in this nonsense,” District Judge Michael Gibbons told Myra Hamontree. “You need to get your life in order.” She was sentenced in 2009 to probation after she pleaded guilty to ex-felon in possession of a firearm for pointing a handgun at her husband after she had been drinking.
