North county seniors seek lunch program

North County seniors are hoping county commissioners will be willing to serve them … lunch. Indian Hills residents and former improvement district board members Kathryn Clark-Ross and Dianne Humble were early proponents of getting Douglas County Senior Services to deliver meals to the north county community twice a week. “We had a group of seniors asking how they can get lunches served at Indian Hills,” Indian Hills District Manager John Lufrano said. “We had a few meetings with Travis Lee and Scott Morgan, and from there we developed a nucleus of volunteers to help with the program.” Lufrano said the …
