Piñon Hills promotes literacy

Piñon Hills Elementary School hosted literacy activities throughout March, culminating with the school’s Family Literacy Night Book Fair on March 26. The month-long celebration of literacy began with a kick-off on March 1, during which the entire school lined the hallways, read, and took the Read Across America oath. Every Friday consisted of random reading drills as well as a hidden Dr. Seuss hat in the school.
