Former Supreme Court Justice Robert E. Rose was involved in an auto accident Monday morning while on his way to Fallon to conduct Drug Court. Rose, 73, suffered rib and sternum injuries, but they are not life-threatening. He is under observation at Banner-Churchill Community Hospital. The accident happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 50 and York Lane. The Nevada Highway Patrol, which is now in charge of the accident investigation, said Rose was eastbound and apparently lost control of his Nissan Pathfinder.
