Let Jesus Christ carry your burdens

Repentance, submission, tithing are all words that cause much concern even in the body of Christ.

These things in my life have only helped me to be free from sin and worry.

I am so happy Jesus took all my burdens upon him. I once had to carry all my doubt and fear and sin, but no more.

Jesus says; “Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.”

The way to get to this point is to realize that the bible says we are all sinners Romans 3:23, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” and Romans 6:23, “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Once we have an understanding of these scriptures we can then repent and confess Jesus and gain eternal life.

Romans 10:9-10 states, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

All these verses say is that you are repenting of your old ways and turning to Jesus’ way.

Total submission is what he asks for.

James 4:7 reads, “therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

He asks for nothing less. The Bible also tells us to submit to one another.

Ephesians 5:21-22 states,“submitting to one another in the fear of God. Wives submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.” And in Colossians the Bible speaks to wives, husbands, children, slaves, fathers telling us all to submit and that whatever we do, do it heartily, as to the Lord.

And then the word tithing, some have argued that it does not talk about tithing in the New Testament.

However, in the New Testament Jesus is expecting more than that from his disciples.

He wants my all, he wants me to die completely to myself and live for Him one hundred percent. Not merely 10 percent. The best scripture I see is in Malachi 3:8 which reads, “Will a man rob God? Yet you say, “In what way have we robbed You?” In tithes and offerings.”

All these words seem to be harsh, but in actuality they are liberating.

I want to serve and be submissive to Jesus, He brings me peace, healing, prosperity and joy unspeakable.

In John 10:10 Jesus states, ”the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

So we see that Jesus does want what is absolutely best for each one of us.

He is truly a good God and worthy of our honor in repentance, submission, and tithing and offerings.

It is a great life. And then we get to go to heaven also. I would say that this is a definite win-win situation.
