The R-C Morning Report for Feb. 20

Roads lead to Lake Tahoe this afternoon as Douglas County commissioners hear a report from the Nevada Department of Transportation on proposed Kingsbury Grade work and a request to study lowering the county’s highway standard from Level of Service C to Level of Service D. County commissioners meet 1:30 p.m. at the Tahoe Transportation Center in Stateline.

A reception and photo exhibit opening Eagles and Agriculture is 5:30 p.m. today at the Holiday Inn Express. This is a first for the event, and the closest you can get to the event unless you’ve already got reservations. It’s $10 a person.

It looks like sunny skies and warmish temperatures will accompany us nearly through the end of February. Today expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 57. The seven-day forecast says that pattern will pretty much continue through the middle of next week.
