A Mammoth Lakes man is in custody after he was arrested Wednesday morning after Mono County drug authorities served a warrant at his home.
Jose Priciliano Perez Torres, 32, of Mammoth Lakes, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales, and sales of a controlled substance.
The Mono County Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with the assistance of Mono County Sheriff’s deputies, concluded the investigation in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
A search of Torres’ home was conducted, and after several alerts by the narcotic detection dog “Tara,” more than an ounce of methamphetamine was recovered, along with several thousand dollars in cash officers believe was obtained through the sale of narcotics.
Torres was taken into custody by Mono County Sheriff deputies and transported and booked into the Mono County Jail in Bridgeport without incident.
Torres is currently in custody with all charges pending through the Mono County District Attorney’s Office.
